Persian Blackhead sheep are fat rumped. They have hair instead of wool.
Lots of waiting happens when dying wool. Wool needs a lot of sitting and soaking. Some processes, including my madder root process, requires heat.
The longer wool sits in dye, the darker it gets.
After the yarn has reached the desired saturation, it must be removed from the bath and dryed.
