Ralph Skunkie Davis is a transdisciplinary transsexual artist whose sculptures act as liberatory tools, complicating the perception of non-normative bodies through biomimicry, installation, prosthesis, and body modification.
They often work with apocalypse in mind, acknowledging the ways in which the trans body, historically and discreetly, is a site of constant rebirth and reinvention.
Skunkie received their BFA in Sculpture and Literary Arts & Studies in 2023 from the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD).
